With 2.21.1 and PT and some settings tweak (GI clamp, coher., path term. pow.,..) you'd also score fast results.
Yes that was a tight time window to work. Was decided one day at night, started working 8am, and showed to client at 6pm...
Haha

...but this kind of works are interesting to do, there is no time to think...its just work..work. Sometimes we need this to break our limits and realize what we can do in a short time.
Octane is a great tool to show projects to clients. Especially if you are an architect...sun/sky system is great. Almost Heaven...when we get Clouds will be even better.
Octane 2.21.1 is really good...the speed imrovements are stuning, but as you know our SU plugin was not updated...we need our Fuzzy back.

Many thanks.
Thank you mate, there is no secret to this grass, its "just" displacement and different texture as diffuse. Depending on the size of the lawn, you need to tweak to the desired effect. In Close shoots it looks good, but in distant or aerial views you need a good texture to diffuse (seamless one).
I don't know where I got them from, but most of my textures are edited to my needs.
I have uploaded the ones I used in this grass, but you can see that different shoots have different grass.

Nuno, most of your comments in other people work are...how can I say this?...empty of any point!
You are not saying anything that have any constructive critic...you are just saying the obvious. Of course PT and PMC are better but in many works there is no need to use them. The person that choose what Kernel to use is the person who design the image.
There is a reason for every kernel in Octane System...ones are faster and not so realistic, others are slower and more real.
There no point on keep saying "the image you should use PMC...bla bla bla...then...you should use PMC".
Thank you for the critic about the lights are a bit over bright, but was a request of the client.
Cheers to all
