I am reporting a bug in the Octane 2026.1 Houdini plugin regarding the Max Info Samples parameter.
The Issue:
The Max Info Samples setting within the Render AOV node is being completely ignored by the engine. This is not limited to a single pass; it affects the entire Info AOV category ...

Hi,
I had Cuda 700 errors on a 1080 rig with liquid cooled and the temperatures never exceeded 55ºC.
I have to test with the 2018.1 version.

I have the same issue in a machine with 7x1080. I remember a scene with a lot of instances, i could not render with that machine... and there was memory enough.

Bad reading of normal map
Hi,
I am rendering some test and i have a problem with the normal map and Octane. I attach 2 examples with red zones where Octane flips the normal map. Native render of lightwave works fine.
any idea?

Totally agree with you. I had to buy a USB dongle (49$) to work offline.
