yes it's not creating any nodes when color and float value is zero. Connect a float texture as a workaround.

Relinking textures using Project Asset Inspector doesn't work anymore. Using Octane Texture Manager is very slow.

Modyfing UV in UV texture window or creating new UV doesn't update in Octane until object has enabled force updating in tag - this is caused by object vertex map tag.

Without giving more details about your scene/texture informations and paths that's not much useful.

Do not expect everything is perfect. Trying to fix something on similar issues that will cause another problems. There is not a perfect and reliable mechanism in C4D for these.

No problem :) Just thought that maybe conflict with vertex tag.

It would be great to have the same alpha pattern using image comparisions :

Yes sure, but I didn't have success to do with current graphic system.

XPresso attached to Camera doesn't update if we navigate in C4D viewport - it update only if we use Octane LiveViewer : viewtopic.php?f=9&t=80367#p415184

So it is C4D limitation that viewport doesn't update Octane Camera ?

I mean that xpresso connected to octane camera tag is not updated while using c4d viewport
