Hi,
im' trying a scene exported with LW, it's all ok but emitters dont work.
I had a separate layer with emitter geometry, once exported i pick the material and i try all eitter types, but dont see any result even if i raise power to the top.
what can i miss ?

thank,
Paolo

ciao beppe,
nope... sadly it's ok ;(
no switch to turn on somewhere ? no oddities around this feature ?
Emitters are small discs on the roof of a room, could this affect the time to see some light in the scene (i left it run for 4 min on a gtx470) ?

ok, here's the scene.
LAMP material should emit light, can someone tell me what's wrong here?
Importing the OBJ into Lw all normals are flipped but i assume it's a LW issue, since all other materials render correctly into octane.

thanks,
Paolo

Tried with two of your lights, I have the same problem.
the only way to get the emitter to light is to let the normal pointing inward
cheers

hi,
normals were facing inwards before i flipped them, but even that way emitters didnt work.
Tweaking parameters i managed to get emitter bright (they were visible) but they didnt cast light.
If they cast any light, it must be extremely slow to show because it's not there after 4 min on a GTX 470.
How long simplified scene above took to render ? Did you see lighting immediately or did it show after some minutes of refining ?

thank,
Paolo

Did you have it on Path Tracing or Direct Lighting?
