There's a mismatch of RGB Values:

The node inspector displays the RGB values that are stored in the node. The RGB values in RGB texture nodes are always in linear color space. On the other hand, the color picker allows you to enter colors either as sRGB values or as linear values, which can be defined in the application preferences:
color picker space.png
I.e. if you would set the color picker space to "linear", both color values would match.

Is displacement now at a stage where it will work around corners without creating cracks - I've always had to use geometry to make brick and mortar walls as the bricks always had cracks.

Will Octanes voxelisation-displacement ever support vertex motion blur? The last two commercial projects i've done have needed vertex motion blur on displaced meshes.

But once again G, can you please post updates (at least shocking eye-bulging ones like this -- for us antisocial types) in the latest Development Build Release section every single time you post good stuff on FB? That would really rock big guy.
