Hi all .. i am a MAC user that recently bought a PC to make multi GPU renders with Octane, and i need some help... i m' very new in the Windows world.
A. Win 10 Pro version 1607
B. One 780 ti 3 gb of ram and 3 TITAN X 12 gb of ram
C. RAM Capacity 32 go
D. Nvidia driver version 21.21.13.7306
E. OctaneRender Standalone version V3.03.4
F. OctaneRender plugin version 3.03.4-R3 (19.09.2016)
G. Host application version, including build number if available Cinema 4D R18 last built
I am sending you the screenshots, when the scene freezes and strength cinema 4d to leave.
In the first document i saw that, even if i disable the 780 ti it seems that Octane continue to see only 3gb of ram available.
In the second i made a screen capture of the entire scene and the messages in the logs window.
As i'm very new to PC i really don't where to start to understand what's happening... i've almost the same configuration on my old mac pro
... three titan in an external PCI box, and with the same scene, i don't have any trouble ..
Does somebody could help me ?
All the best

Hi bphoton,
first of all, with your set up, I would leave always the 780 for display only and the Titan for Octane only.
The Priority option must to be active only on the GPU connected with monitors.
Please check in your Nvidia control panel if "Multi GPU" is active, if yes disable it while working with Octane, SLI can couse errors and issues with VRAM.

Hi bphoton,
could you share with us the bugreport?
Does this happen only with this specific scene or always?
could you try to export to standalone and see if the issue is present also there?

Thank you again for your answer ....
- first "could you share with us the bug report?"
My main problem here, is that i can't do anything when C4D crash, i can't even copy past to the clip board the bug report.. that's why until now i give a screen capture
- I'm testing since this morning many other scenes to be sure if the problem only occur with this one
- Unfortunately i don't know how the stand alone works... i'll take a look at some tutorials tomorrow...
One i'll got more info about the scene i'll let you know
Thank you

Hi,
this is a problem on low level. Maybe driver/hardware or renderer.
1-You can find bugreport.zip. It's visible in your screenshots.
2-You can send C4D scene to us.
3-You can go to LV->File->Export->Animated ORBX to export whole animation as orbx.

Like i said here is the link with all the stuff i could grab here and their for the scene .....
I hope you could help onto this because i really don't understand what's happening ..
I've optimized my scene, i reduced the numbers of polygones, tried to use less displacement map
than in my first tests ..
Best
