There's probably a reason this is not default, but is there any way to duplicate a connection of nodes in the node editor and maintain all the connections? Right now I'm trying to duplicate a mix material 12 times and Im having to duplicate, then reconnect the structure before making my changes. Thanks!
It's not supported. You have to do connect by hand. Maybe for next releases.connartist wrote:There's probably a reason this is not default, but is there any way to duplicate a connection of nodes in the node editor and maintain all the connections? in R6.2 in PT-mode specular depth and glossy depth are called different in LV-settings and in Render Settings / overwrite kernel Settings. that shoud be the same name right?
Go out of node editor. Select mix material with all materials connected to it.connartist wrote:There's probably a reason this is not default, but is there any way to duplicate a connection of nodes in the node editor and maintain all the connections? Ctrl+c - ctrl+V.
Give all new materials new names.
Go back to node editor. Everything should be fine.

they are related to the right buttons menu of the node editor, now you can scroll it with the wheel and with right click on groups you can "solo" them

Just tried to save an OpenEXR with different compression settings with the multi pass save settings in the octane render settings.
This does not have any impact on the size of the EXR´s.
Could it be that the connection of the selector is broken?

Propably yes. It's using default parameters.Silverwing wrote:Just tried to save an OpenEXR with different compression settings with the multi pass save settings in the octane render settings.
