Hi
me again ,and i have good news .its working now .
it was a Palm object in the scene wich has some bad textures ,i had problem with that object before ,
it seems sometimes octane does accept that palm object and other times it doesnt
anyway it works and your exporter works brilliant
thanks Abstrax

it is not working ,and i tryed to send you the file but that is not working as well ,slow internet.
i have to try to find out whats wrong with this scene ,bit by bit ,maybe a material, the scene is
not big enough to overload the GPU
thanks

ribra, octane has a very memory hungry voxelization algoritihm, that requires it to keep a lot of temporary data during voxelisation.
32bit OS'es are limited to 1.3-1.4 max on windows.

to load my 4 million poly lamborghini model, i need to eat up to 4 GB of memory during voxelisation.
we're working on improving this, but you should really consider upgrading to an x64 operating system. it lifts the limits and you won't ever see a crash during voxelising again.

once you've worked with a x64 system with octane you won't want to go back to 32bit ever. ;)

Cool. Thanks for finding the culprit. Just to let youknow: Today I will release 0.08 which will support the export of GPU settings and daylight direction :)

Cheers,
Marcus

Thanks for the tutorial and for the translation offer. I will translate the plugin myself, when it's finished. Maybe with the next release or so.

Cheers,
Marcus
