Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
Jay, i'm doing well working on meters in cinema 4d and octane?
As you see there are no hidden objetcs because everything was imported from archicad, where i work in meters.

Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
I’ve put my workstation to render. I’m trying to get to the delivery in 12 hours. I can’t run any more tests now. it doesn’t occur to me that other things test. if you manage to locate the problem I cancel the render and upload it to the RNDR

Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
Hi Salmon, I suspected something like that. Let's start by removing the scattering node and see if you like the result. Glass is pretty simple overall: use an Octane Specular node, add a very tiny bit of roughness for clear glass (0.001 for example) and set your IOR to 1.52 (which is crown glass ...

Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
I cannot check it yet because preparing new builds but it may be some face overlapping with hidden objects.
No worries Ahmet. I understand it. Thanks anyway.

Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
"you have a Scattering Medium applied. What purpose does that serve for this scene?"
Hi Jay,
I don't know what's that. I've taken the material from a purchased octane material database. I supose pixellab or gsg.
I'll take a look in the manual to understand what that means.

Re: wrong glass material between c4d and standalone
i've tried changing glass material:
- projection to cubic
- side to frontal
- tile unactive
and nothing changes.
Ahmet, i'm a simple useless architect.. nested dielectrics? i just give up
It's very embarrasing but i will put orbx file here just in case someone can test it and also the c4d ...

If i export the scene as "Package (orbx)" i mean 'non animated', it looks correctly in OctaneRender Studio
