I just did a quickie test, and see similar results. I'm guessing it's the other end of this issue:

So apparently Octane has a 10-1200 Focal Length range limit. Based on the previous thread, it's an SDK problem, not a Plugin ...

bug experienced in rendering a scene with a camera that has Focal Lenght (C4D camera) of value "9".
No value below "10" is actually working for some reason. Tried many walkarounds (e.g keyframing 9 each frame of the project),
but seems like the only frame that renders fine is the first ...

Hi, testing the new c4D plugin on a complex scene - when RTX is activated - it takes longer than when not active..
and in both cases the render comes without certain lighting and scatter objects. :roll:
Am I doing something wrong or is just my scene?

Cinema4D - Application Error - crash after 11-25 frames at any render with any scene,
both from Cinema 4D plugin and Octane Stand alone (both version 2018.1.3)
I have no plugins nor special textures in my scene.

I'm having an issue with my Hackintosh with OSX Sierra v10.12.4; is Octane still incompatible with this version?
Standalone is crashing and saying "cannot be opened because of a problem" and "check with developer if OctaneRender Demo 3.04 works with this version of OSX.."
Octane Bench does not ...

v3.00-R2 is a very old version, when Pascal GPUs were not yet been released. Please update your plugin at v3.05.3 and try again, thanks.
