Hi guys,
I've encountered a weird crash, it's hard for me to troubleshoot as it's a really simple scene - cloners with displacement & moving camera, I'm using some x-particles (not too heavy) and AI denoiser. The render runs fine for around 30-40 frames and then it crashes. I'm rendering the animation to PV. I can continue rendering after restarting the application.
My specs are:
Win 10
GTX 1070
64GB
419.67
Latest Octane for C4D
C4D r20
I've attached the bug report
Crash every 30-40 frames when rendering

I can see it's renderer level crash. How hard to share a sample scene for showing the issue to us? And writing the version numbers with respect to request? We cannot know numbers from "latest stable".

No crashes on me as usual. Probably you're out of ram/vram. Could you render your scene after activated the all log options from "SETTINGS/OTHER/LOG OUTPUT"? And send your "c4doctanelog.txt". It will record most of data to invistigate.dephixeb wrote:Sure not a problem if it helps, attached below.

Hi,
I made few more tests yesterday throughout the day (so the file is a a little big), but in the end I managed to render up to 99 frame until it crashed, at 19:37

has this problem been solved? I am having the same crashes. Turning of motion blur and denoiser helped a little but I still have a lot of crashes.

I have no plugins nor special textures in my scene.

Please let me know if you have any solution thanks

Use latest STUDIO drivers not Game Ready drivers, don't use overclocking. Check VRAM/RAM and temperatures of your system while rendering.Deltaproxy wrote:Hi, having the same problem..
