Before you buy it, please check if it fits a 3090 (I'm assuming it is a 3-slot gpu), because I think it doesn't (the Razer Core).

I believe forester has a lowpoly version for each tree.
Try using that instead of the hipoly one.

I have the Razer Blade with the 2080. I love it, it's rock solid. I render all the time on the road.

Studio version has more base RAM (32gb vs 16gb), but the regular version can be upgraded.

So it comes down to if you need the extra vram (8 vs 16) for the extra price.

I'm a total noob in texturing and shading, I don't know what to do and how to do it, but I think the specular/metalness map in octane plugin for cinema is inverted by default.

Budget? I'm not an expert at all, but I'd start replacing the cpu (some I7 would be better), add another gpu (980ti or 780ti depending on your budget) and maybe a ssd for Os and softwares.

Log in on the website (render.otoy.com), go to the customer area, OctaneLive Accounts tab, deactivate standalone and plugin, restart the software.

I tried with 3 cards directly connected and it works, but when I connect one riser (shielded, powered) it starts with those crazy errors on boot.
On another motherboard all the gpus work ok with risers (both 16x-16x and 16x-1x) so I don't know what to think.
