Welcome! :) Top-end GPU as currently GeForce RTX 4090 (new RTX 5090 can't work yet for lack of conmpatibility of OctaneRender but this waits until this or next week) is (much) faster than single-socket top-end CPU as AMD Epyc 9965 because this GPU gets up to 90 Tflops (= 16384-core x 2730 or 2745MHz x 2). :D

If you like the real caustics in the almost real life, check my rendered images - follow my "nuno1980"'s user. But very sorry, my RTX 4090 rendered during average 150 hours per image at... Path Tracing (PT)* kernel from... our sun and dot light sources. :)

* - I've needed to use PT kernel because Photon Tracing kernel cannot render any variable caustics (learn - here). ;)
