I am facing some issues with the Rounded Edge feature. Any idea why it looks like this?
Blender 8.1, OctaneRender_Enterprise_2019_1_5_win, OctaneServer_Studio_2019.1.5_20.7_stable. GeForce RTX 2070 newest driver.

What's the scale of your objects? If they are very small, a rounding radius of 1 may be the problem. Remember that this is just a rendering trick with normals, not any actual geometry modification. I've also seen similar render glitches with the Octane edge rounding option when vertex or face normals were out of whack on certain objects, particularly primitives. One quick-n-dirty work around was exporting the geometry as .obj then re-importing.

Hello,

have you used Accurate mode in Round edge node? Fast mode give such artifacts as on your screenshot.

I noticed that this problem comes up as soon I am enabling the Auto Smooth Normals. Is there a known restriction with this option?
@J.C. Where can I find this "Accurate mode" in Round edge node?

IMHO accurate should be the default mode because fast doesn’t work in 90% of the the cases.

Accurate mode has been set as the default mode since several builds already.

So you don't have to plug in the rounded edge node and can just set a radius like in the original post of this thread?
