In the final v4 version, I only get half of the image denoised. It has a blurry border so it's mixing 2 halfs and one is not denoised.
In the octane render the issue is fixed if I move the camera. (only happens when I render the loaded scene)
I also have the blender plugin and there I didn't find a way to see the complete denoised image.

also, you can see that the half is the closest to square so one is divided horizontally and the other vertically

another baked image to better see the effect:

While I have not come upon your denoising issue, I can tell you the way to make the noise (and other) passes available in Blender.

(1) In Render Layers tab, got to Denoiser Passes and select Beauty (if you want to see the noise combined with the Beauty pass).

(2) After your render completes you then need to change Layer tab from Composite to Render Layer. This will give you access to any layer passes you have enabled in the Layer Passes tab.
(3) Change the Select tab from Composite to OctDenoiseBeauty and you can see your denoised final image.

Thank you for your explanation. I admit at first I needed some time to find the setting but obviously I did otherwise there woudn't have been any denoised part of the image.

The images uploaded are from the denoised beauty tab in the standalone renderengine and from the beauty pass in blender.
I also tried the blend parameter and it works as predicted as in it mixes the noisy image with the half denoised one.

It's also interesting to underline that it only happens in the first render in the standalone but in blender, since it restarts at every frame it's always half-denoised even in an animation.

Hi vimaxus,

Could you please PM a demo scene(perhaps the cube scene) so I can check on my end? Thanks.

Cheers,
