Hello everybody,
i have 2 little problems...

I'm doing an animation of some solar panel and i need to reduce the visibility of the reflection of the sun on th epanels.
Despite i reduce the sun size value (or even negative) the sun reflection remain unchanged and is too big.
Do you know how to reduce it or is there a way to don't have a sun visiblity but still have the light coming (like a distant light)?

Another question: I'have seen that there is no environmental fog options..how do you do it? Do I need to export a depth buffer?

thanks

I am not sure how to fix your sun problem, there are not visibility options for the daylight sun. Perhaps you could play with the "Turbidity" parameter in the daylight node, or with the "Highlight compression" in the imager.

Yes, currently you need to export the Z pass and add the fog effect in post.

You can make it smaller if you decrease the "Roughness" parameter in the glossy shader.

Highlight compression reduces it a bit but i loose other kind aspects of the material...
Is this an Octane core provblem or just a little feature missing?
thanks
