I am working on neon signs and trying to achieve a uniform brightness.
Smaller sections of the neon signage are brighter (which I believe is how it should act) and I am manually adjusting each mesh with a different emission texture to balance the brightnesses.

Is there a way to make the texture emission emit a uniform brightness on varying sized meshes?

* just found the issue. I had object tags on the meshes and when they were deleted the meshes produced uniform emission.

any thoughts on what is going on there Ahmet?

Ditto. In fact object tag caused issues with all my emissions and was the issue I had with some emissions not working at all.

checked. I see little different behaviour with objecttag against to static meshes. But this is not big different here. Also it looks like working with objecttag. If anyone can provide some example, we can compare.

Hi Ahmet

I can confirm the same problem here. On Mac and Windows in two different versions of plugin.

This is a bit off topic but when can we have a stable version of C4DOctane plugin? I mean any version, just STABLE and FINAL? New features are nice in 2.0 but now all usable versions of plugin are beta. This is frustrating for professional work. Right now i have to keep all versions of the plugin for each job just to make sure i can open the project in the future. Just saying.

By the way congratulations on the 2.0 release ;)

edit:updated scene file to include object tags.

Hi milanm,
thanks for scene. I'll check it.

For stability, currently 1.53 is most stabile. But current 2.0 is mostly stabile for production environment. Me and many are using it.
Due of nonstop updates, it's very hard to make a full stabile release.
