any example to show what are talking about?

It may be about your scene setup or content. Have you checked with previous builds?

It is not related to Octane OGL preview of materials. This can be controlled in C4D preferences - scheme colors - editor - Spline/Null

I think I found a small bug:
Unchecked "Custom AOV" in Composite shader shows on custom AOV layer.

Hi Ahmet,
having some trouble with this and the previous version ...
My machine freezes after a couple of frames rendering and needs a complete restart. Even if working with LV it crashes after some time.
I tried different things to solve this without success:
- activated my 1080TI only for having more GRAM available
- changed NVidia settings of C4D like described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=injfhCVLwBI
- confirmed that the TdrDelay settings are at a value of 60

I am using R26 with the latest version of plugin & standalone with NVidia Studio driver 512.59

BTW: the crashes are happening when using Redshift, too!

Any hints what I could further do?

Ron

Hi Ron,
the plugin is loaded from Dropbox, not good for stability:
1A1C7707-8AAA-4115-B66D-4BF2856D865F.jpeg
Please install it correctly in C:\Program Files\Maxon\Cinema 4D R26\plugins\c4doctane (You have to create the plugins folder in lowercase!), and report back, thanks.

ciao,
Beppe

Hi Bepe,
thanks for the hint. I did as you advised but without success. C4D is crashing even with simple scenes after a while working.
Maybe its a driver related issue?
Which driver is known to be stable with this plugin version?

Ciao

I don't suppose this is new behavior for this build. And I don't think there's much to do. It can give different problems if I try to play with that. Things are extremely complicated in detection parts and sometimes no real solutions.
But there is also issue while using C4D Transform Manager - for example changing Octane Light rotation here updates after 15 second or more, doing the same using rotation in viewport updated in realtime.

OK - I will do but before I will do a clean install of old driver version 472.84 to see if the behavior is still the same.
