Version 2.16.2

OK so I just tried to save out some materials from standalone (v 2.15) again, and save them in the localDB. This results in that c4d closes whenever I click on the "localdb" tab in the liveDB window. I've attached the livedb folder from my prefs folder here.

Just installed 2.16, erased liveDB folder, saved the materials via. octane standalone 2.16 - still having the same problem.

May helps to you.schodt wrote:aoktar wrote:try with 2.16.schodt wrote:OK so I just tried to save out some materials from standalone (v 2.15) again, and save them in the localDB. Also, ORBX import isn't working here either
I've attached the ORBX file I'm trying to open, to this post..

what are you trying? Getting the geometry? It's not possible. Only material import should work but i haven't checked it since ages.schodt wrote:Also, ORBX import isn't working here eitherI've attached the ORBX file I'm trying to open, to this post..

I'm just trying to get the materials
I actually tried saving the materials via. Standalone first by saving it in the localDB(which didn't work), so I tried importing the ORBX file, but it isn't working either.
EDIT: OK I finally got it to work by grouping the material along with its nodes in Octane Standalone, right-clicking and saving the material it self as an ORBX file. Saving it to the localDB still makes C4D crash.

do this way. Select material and save as orbx. Then import and voila...schodt wrote:I'm just trying to get the materialsI actually tried saving the materials via. Standalone first by saving it in the localDB(which didn't work), so I tried importing the ORBX file, but it isn't working either.
