So finally, what is the result? Do you have this problem still?

Well, not for now... but I will report any issues... My biggest problem for now is that I can't get the colors I want... but this is described in another thread...

Could you please add an indicator to the view port info that tells me how many textures are loaded as well as the limit for both ex. 'bin textures 50/64 and float textures 20/32' or similar... thanks!

I constantly go over the limit and this would really help work out what to remove, etc.

Yes I would really be happy if such a texture counter make it into the plugin too!
IT will be not a guess in the wilds while optimising a scene if I run into a limit.

Accidentally I started it to the windows support forum and it hasn't been moved yet..

I am not happy with the answers I got... Octane is an unbiased renderer so tweaking output has no meaning, it reminds me of other renderers which I don't like...

Karba,

Still have some problems with simple scenes... but I believe MAX isn't a very stable app in general... so I can't easily blame Octane for some of these crashes...
