***Merging material issue***

Hi Karba:

when I merge Max models already texturized with Octane for Max and I select "use scene material" then in my scene I found duplicated materials.

Did you try to use Standalone version? Does it have such problem?
I tried the Standalone version and all three cards worked fine without crashing also on high resolutions (because of time I only tested it with the chess-scene).
I am now waiting for my fourth card and then I will do some more tests. Maybe I can figure out more precisly when the crashes exactly occure.

Is there a general limitation of resolution size except the limit set by the size of the card-memory?
I have a customer that first wanted an interior rendering only for a catalogue (that's why i have choosen Octane) and now he also wants to use
it for a construction sign with the size of 3,5m and as high dpi as possible...

*** please add motion blur - this is essential for animation!!

I don't mean camera motion blur... I mean object motion blur!

At this moment limitation is only for interactive render. (It will be removed in next version 2.58d).
For final render there is not any limitation.

It will be ready after instancing support (only for object moving, not for a object form animation)

Здравствуйте!
Я оплатил лицензию на Octane для 3d-max, но у меня возникли проблемы с активацией. Установил все правильно и Max увидел OctaneRender. На сайте в своем профиле я получил User ID и Password, но при вводе их в 3dMax, появляется окно с запросом активации для Standalone версии.
Для иллюстрации проблемы сделал скриншот.
подскажите пожалуйста, как эта проблема решается?

Требуется две пары логин/пароль. Одна для standalone, другая для плагина. Соответсвенно обе лицензии надо приобрести.

Понятно... Видимо я невнимательно читал и упустил этот момент... моя ошибка :? ... А можно ли поменять сейчас тип лицензии на standalone, чтобы не доплачивать ещё 99 евро?

Обратитесь в тех поддержку, я этим не занимаюсь. Но если вы работаете в 3dsmax, рекомендую докупить standalone, так как сам по себе standalone без плагина довольно неудобен при работе с 3dsmax.
