it worked before, now the texture is only visible in the preview
What are you trying to render? Can you post a screenshot showing the problem?

Normalmapping still doesn't work, if:

- the nmap texture is provided through the texture input pin of the macro material

- two nmap textures are mixed together with a texture mix node

independently found the problem. in the dialog box to export / import obj (3DS max 2012) has been disabled preserving texture coordinates.

Arrrggh! Major problem on a ongoing project.. I've HDRI mapped interior rooms for alot of buildings... Now, when I load in the objects, it says "Maximum number of 64bpp RGBA textures reached. Please reduced scene complexity"...

I only got 10 hdri maps :( I hope this is now a actual hardware limitation, or I will have a major headache render out all those maps to a single one... Stupid as I was I thought the limit was the same no matter what textures are being used..

We can fix the first issue, the other is is more difficult; for now if you want to use normal maps you are limited to plain RGB image nodes.

maybe is a little bug:
I opened a file created with version 2.58 with the new version (2.58c).
After I loaded a material (ocm file) created with 2.57, I tried to assign the material and octane has crashed.

Great
