Uhm, I thought normalize was for if you had different emitter sizes, and wanted them to be less/more intense based on size, not Kelvin?! Ok, cool I will test this...

Problem.
In my scene animated UVW. On what staff the texture gives failure. The texture lays truly, but on it there are not clear distortions.

Has lead the test same scene in previous version Octane 2.52. The similar problem does not arise. Apparently the problem is connected with transition to a new method of concept of geometry inside GPU.

Respectfully, Anton.

I am sorry for bad English.

waiting for the 2.6 for Max
In Max we have immediate feedback...and if it works in Max should work on Octane core too.

afaik, you have to choose the color you want absorbed, so the opposite color is what comes out of the material. If the material absorbs green, it will look red.

Yes, this is probably due to our new geometry storage in the engine. What kind of scene is this, and what is the shape of the object?

I can simplify the project and send you, it will be not complex (c4d + ocs).

Minor glitch, the colors in the gradient bar do not correspond (different gamma?)

I also don't like how Octane color picker works. Because it's not gamma corrected, you cant copypaste color values from other applications, but because the palette is so washed out is also hard to pick dark & saturated colors inside Octane. Look at the picture below; the regions for saturated colors is so tiny (top 10% - 15%) opposed to the region of desaturated colors. The bottom 20% is all pure white. The same way is hard to set a dark black, since white spans over 60% of the picker bar and really dark black begins at the lowest 10% - 5%. Clicking two pixels off, makes a visible color difference in the render.

It would be good to have the option of a linear or gamma corrected picker.

I completely agree with matej about the color picker. I hate the way it displays !
