This feature may seem useless for offline rendering, but when it comes to interactive CG market, baking out lightmaps is still essential. I can totally see with Octane's interactive lighting system plus diffuse baking make it a very attractive renderer for most of the game company.

I would also strongly suggest to support diffuse baking.
