When I press this button, the viewport temporarily turns black, showing only a small corner of the scene in the top-left. Then everything displays normally. This literally happens when switching modes, and it only occurs during mode changes.

Say you have a viewport resolution of
1024x512, with 66 % configuration, the render engine uses 682x341 film buffer internally.Note that each upscaler backend can have its limitation on the upscaling capability. For the current DLSS we use, if it's set at/below 25%, we will fall back to linearly upscaling.
As for the DLSS swapper, we do not support other versions of DLSS by swapping the dll.

Question about AI Light 2.0.
I noticed that when using AI Light 1.0 over the past year, it does not work very well in scenes with moving lights or where lights turn on and off.
Will AI Light 2.0 handle animated lights better?

AI light 2.0, despite its name, is a complete overhaul, so it would be behave quite differently.
