I've finally made the Apple Silicon transition for my main workstation and now running a very nice M4 Max system. I'm trying to get Octane on there (with Cinema 4D) and it doesn't seem to be working. I've downloaded the plugins and installed them into the C4D plugins folder, but nothing shows up when I open up Cinema. Is there anything else I need to do? This in in Cinema 4D 2026.0
Any help massively appreciated!

Hi,

Please note that you need to have macOS 15 Sequoia installed, or plugin cannot work.

The devs are finishing to work on new OctaneRender version supporting new macOS 26 Tahoe, and should be published shortly.

For C4D 2026, you need at least c4doctane 2025.3-v1.7.1:
https://render.otoy.com/plugindownloads/0c/a6/48/e0/OctaneRender_Prime_2025.3_for_Cinema4D_v1.7.1.zip

Note that you always need to remove from the OctaneRender folder, all the unnecessary c4doctane-R2X.xdlib files not related with R2X specific version, and leave only one c4doctane-R2X.xdlib file in ../plugins/OctaneRender directory.

Beppe

Thanks for responding. I'm running Sequoia (15.6.1) and the plugins are installed in the correct location, as far as I'm aware (without duplicates for the wrong version of C4D). Here's a screen grab of the directory showing them in place:

But when C4D starts up, there's no sign of Octane. Is there any way to show a list of active plugins in C4D? The preferences pane only shows the directories added
