Well, bad news ! I use a new post to separate well the topics : This is a bug report about something very annoying : yesterday, I worked all the day on a big scene and everything worked fine.
Today, I have received my new Samsung screen (a 1920x1200 instead of my previous 1600x1200). All my software work fine, but Octane sometimes refuse to open, and when it opens, once the scene loaded , clicking on th mesh node has no effect, the memory is not filled, and Octane crashes if I click on the camera reset button, freezing completely the computer and requiring hard reboot by the power button ! (I tried with simple and big scenes as well that worked fine previously, in 2.3v5 and 2.4 as well). So, currently I can't use Octane. I have worked night and day for weeks for the competition, and now I'm stuck !
As the screen uses the same driver as the other one used yesterday, I don't see the relation with the screen... Changing back will be difficult, because I have put the previous screen on an other machine...
I have switched the main and secondary screens by software and by harware (switching plugs) with no effect.
I can't load ocs files, and I cant load an obj file ! Octane doesn't load files at all.

An other important thing : please, in the upcoming release, remove the splash screen ! If I remember well, it had been removed for a good reason : Bringing it back has brought a problem that I already reported in previous versions : When a Windows popup warning appears due to a problem when launching Octane, it appears behind the spash screen, and can't be neither read nor clicked.
