Please give some examples to illustrate it
Octane Object Tag - Shadow visibility doesn't work - it is always on. Tag works fine but something wrong is with Alpha Shadow setting in Kernel preferences - it must be turned on to make shadow visibility works even in objects without alpha or transparency.
Please give some examples to illustrate what you're talking about
Static noise doesn't work if Render Region is used. It works fine for Film Region.
Why do you care of it? RR is just for adjusting the partial areas. It's not a plugin related thing also.

Attached scene with shadow visibility turned off but it is still visible because alpha shadow in render kernel is turned off.

As for laggy OGL interface using docked Octane Node window while using "new style" please do it by self - this is interface related issue. Not sure if this is plugin or C4D itself limitation.

Using render region is good for make more detailed and clear previews because it have unlocked samples amount but static noise help to have noise free fast preview during material manipulation.

Please give some examples to illustrate it
First example is undocked, old style - fluently fast slider moving
next example is new style, undocked - less fluent speed
last one is new style, docked - bad, no smooth slider moving

Anyway please don't remove old style in further versions.

This is more visible when "edit controls" are enabled too with "new style".

I noticed next interesting think about nodes. Generally all of them works the same way while moving sliders - when we stop move slider renderer is going to render image to fully max samples. The only difference are gradient nodes and color sliders - they not render until we release mouse after moving slider :)
Changing color GUI type to Octane native resolves color sliders but it doesn't works for gradients.

Generally these top and middle sliders works fine in Octane Native GUI but not these bottom and gradient too ( gradient and color sliders in gradient nodes ) :

Hello!
Have used a few times projection node called Sample position to UV
Very useful. But... I rendered one time all is fine, saved the scene... After few days open the scene, send to LV and get semi transparent objects (in their shadow area) - please see screenshots.
Here I put with background to see clear this effect. Reassign material isn't working. Creating new plane & new material too - giving the same result.
The result in a PV and through Render Layer gives the same semi transparent objects.

Without giving more details about your scene/texture informations and paths that's not much useful.
Please see, after proper relinking using C4D Asset Broweser proper texture paths are included in Octane Texture Manager too but not in Texture Nodes.

What's your CPU? New style is using a CPU based graphic library, so it may be related to your CPU performance. This is the performance of it on me. It's faster than old style for complex cases with highest drawing quality.

I have I7 6850K. Also noticed that continuous material update turned off in C4D viewport display preferences helps a little.

Does it support Intel AMD Macs (non M1/M2). Eg MACPRO 2019 with AMD Pro Vega 2 DUO?
Several MacPros + Win PC • Cinema 4d • Octane Mac & Octane Win

Super happy to be in Octane 2022 on Cinema4D 2023! Thank you as always!

Edit: I did come across a few crashes randomly. I wasn't doing anything spectacular for any of the crashes. I was in the node editor and was navigating around and it crashed. I tried to replicating it and didn't crash so I'm not sure what is happening.

I added the last few bug reports for your review! It might be something I was doing or how I'm setup but I know you all will know what's up! Thanks in advance! :D
