Hey paul,
Is it possible to have each setting menu and its own window?
I find myself jumping from tab to tab a lot.
And it would be easier to have each setting menu in its own individual window.
But a solution could be to implement node-graph on settings as well.
That would make things easier. Especially when trying to learn the Standalone more so.
And also I noticed in the node-Graph editor. That I can't seem to undo any changes I make. Is undo unavailable in the node-graph Editor?
Thanks

Hi - Splitting each tab into it's own UI panel would be possible, but a lot of work, so not something I would look at in the near term. And no, unfortunately the NodeGraph edit does not have an undo feature.spartan00j wrote:Hey paul,

Okay, what about applying the node graph feature to the render Target settings then.face_off wrote:Hi - Splitting each tab into it's own UI panel would be possible, but a lot of work, so not something I would look at in the near term. This is not really possible - the idea of displaying the NodeGraph window is so that you can see how the plugin has transferred the Poser scene to Octane. It is not intended for updating settings - sorry.Okay, what about applying the node graph feature to the render Target settings then.
Thanks

I know you said this was impossible a few years ago. But it seemed like the impossible happened.

Has that changed?
Because I went into the node-grab editor for a material. And it opened up not only the material but the render target settings as well.
But I can see the render target in the node graph editor of the plug-in. See my screenshot.
And changing the settings in the note graph on the render target. Changed the settings in the Poser scene.
Seems like it was some kind of glitch. I can't seem to recreate it. But it did work.

It looks like there is a bug in the plugin nodegraph code where if you open the nodegraph a second time, it is referring to the first nodegraph, which may not exist anymore. This is something I need to fix - it is happening with some of my other plugins too.Seems like it was some kind of glitch. I can't seem to recreate it. But it did work.

Can we make this a feature?
I would like to edit the render target using the node-graph feature. Or possibly the whole scene. It's just more fluid than using tabs.
