Hi, Aoktar
Latest version is very smooth.
Until recently I noticed the "Noise4D", which is pretty awesome! I see there are some differences compared to the "Noise" node.
I have been playing with it lately. I noticed, "transform node" doesn't work with this particular node right?

Try adding a projection node.

It did the job!
Thank you, jayroth2020.

I have a plane with opacity (texture) in material and it intersect ball. I get tiny frinde in intersection place.
I tried to change priorities in materials, tried to use rayswitch to fix it, changed grayscale texture to rgb. Unsuccessfully.
Man you are using Octane 2020.2.5 R3 , this topic is for 2021 octane right?
You want to fix a physically correct thing , Your transparent plate has a reflection at the edges, which means that the same reflection will appear in the intersection edges
Doesn't that make sense to you?
Separate edges, problem solved.
There should not be any reflections at the intersection of the plane and the ball, because this area of the plane is completely transparent.VladaStevanovic wrote:divasoft wrote:Hello, have you any idea to fix this issue?

- Play with Ray epsilon values
- Play with Diffuse, Specular and Scatter depth values;
- Nested dielectrics ticked off
- Alpha shadows
- Fake shadows

Please see how is wrong with AOV system. There are some issues.
Generally I want to add/mix Diffuse Indirect ( masked by Triplanar Y- from Wall Material ) with Beauty. Masked Indirect by Triplanar works fine but mixing this with Beauty no. Also Triplanar AOV should give black/white mask. There is need to use Range AOV but after that there is visible outline on mask border.
