Friends, when I am in the 2020.2.3-r3 version, I can use dirt to link bump directly, but it seems to be invalid in the new version。。
The version I am currentlyusing is 2021.1.2
At present, I can only use the above method to make dirt take effect on bump
octane 2021 version of dirt cannot take effect on bump

There is some discussion about this over on the 2022 plugin thread. I use Dirt to drive Bump regularly, but I think I always have it running through a few other nodes along the way. I wouldn't be surprised if Bump doesn't like the direct output of the Dirt node. I shared a simple sample here:
