Hi,
I just updated my Octane to the new version and ran into 2 problems:
1) Texture maps are not displayed correctly in Rhino viewport - Rhino uses roughness maps instead of diffuse textures. Is there an option to select the texture I want to use in the rhino viewport or is this just a current issue?
2) Renders come out different than before (light or colors) - is there any setting I should change by default?

Thanks - it is missing an IES file and some texturemap files - are you able to provide those please?

Also - can you export the scene to .ORBX and provide that file too please.

Thanks

Set the Kernel->White Light Spectrum to Legacy/Flat to render as per Octane 2020.

Thanks

This is a plugin bug, and will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks

Hi lemonade,

Additionally to what Paul suggested (which is not a bug but a "new feature"):

Thanks
Paul
... it is, simply said, possible to keep this new feature enabled and achieve a similar result to "as before" by using the Camera Imager's White Balance. The same could be done in post via an exported 16-bit linear scene referred OpenEXR, for instance.
