BUG: Weird lines in example with RTX on using 3090
I found another example that renders some weird lines on a 3090 with RTX on. RTX off looks ok.
The camera is in the exact same position as the floor, so its causing problems, but RTX on should look the same as RTX off.

I can confirm the first two bugs are fixed and are from the same issue I fixed last week.funk wrote:BUG: Weird lines in example with RTX on using 3090

This one is not though and will require some investigation.

I get some bad results using RTX in conjunction with nesteddialectics and CAD Data:
RTX: RTX Off I can't share the scene unfortunately and can't reproduce it in another scene.

I have fixed several issues related to this, pretty confident that it would solve the problem you are seeing in your scene as well. The fix will be in the next release.Hesekiel2517 wrote:I get some bad results using RTX in conjunction with nesteddialectics and CAD Data:

I think it may be part of the "Fixed incorrect denoiser output in scenes with SSS materials.", but I'm still seeing a color difference in the denoised output.
It's not as drastic now, but the denoised output is a bit more blue.

Sorry for the late reply. Actually, I did reply before. But just noticed that for some reason my reply was not added to the forum. This issue here is a limitation of our denoiser. The denoiser composition is happening on XYZ/RGB colour spaces and if we do the same composition in spectrum space we get a different result(main pass). The reason this started happening in 2021 is because of our new colour pipeline(which doesn't limit spectrum). To reduce the difference in this particular scene, you can decrease the gain and brightness settings on the geometry's medium textures or turn on the use old color pipeline in render target settings. You may still see a very shuttle difference due to the above-explained limitation, which we hope to sort out in near future.
Thanks,
Vijay

same issue for me with RTX on with my 3090, will it be fix soon ? thx
2021.1 RC2 is currently building. It should fix the reported RTX issues. When it has been released, please let us know if the issue has not been resolved - ideally with an example scene. Thank you.davidyannick_1 wrote:same issue for me with RTX on with my 3090, will it be fix soon ? thx
