Hi All,
I play arround with the demo version for 3ds max. i was reading a lot but i cant get it right. i need two uv projection, cubic and und uv unwrap on my mesh. how
can i use both together for diffrent areas on the mesh? is that possible or can you use just one for each object? there is "Mesh UV Projection" but it doesnt work.
the map channel in 3ds max has always to be 1 for all uv modifier?
"and the Name must be 'MapChannel:x' , where x is the 3dsmax channel index (from -2 to 99)" thats in the discription.

thanks for the tip. but i dont get it right. do u have a example? do i have to rename the uvw map modifier from 3ds max?
its always channel number 1, or do i have to use 1,2,3?

Im working on a watch in vray and like to change to octane. the watch has some brushed metall. for the green part i can use UVW Map with a cubic projection.
for the yellow part i have to do a unwrap uvm to have a nice circular brush. i dont know how to apply the diffrent uvs, even with the octane modifier.

When i open you file i see this..

Thats strange in the viewport i can see your texturemaps, but the material is empty. if i start the octane renderview the cube is white.
btw. i have the following demo version: OctaneRender 2018. 1.2 - 7.06 Demo.
