Yeah as i said i suspect Out Of Core is crashing with RTX (did you tried with RTX off?) or not using it properly, I've seen scenes where with OOC slowsdown to 3-4x slower in 2020.x (or v 2019.1.5) than v4.05 with same OOC usage.hkleton wrote:Hi,
No positive result with only the non-displaycards active.
Keep in mind, with NVIDIA driver 431 LW/Octane 2020 DOES render, only when switching to the newest driver 441 and thus really enabling RTX it fails.
Only using the 1080ti's and disabling RTX also does not result in a succesfull render.

Anybody have an isue when rendering from lightwave image with Z depth render pass using also enterprise slave. In this combination slave crash. I can render raw pass, postprocessing pass but I can't render Z depth. I have this isue also with 2019 version.
From what I know, V4 Denoiser did never work with limited region. I don't know if this limitation is still in use with 2020…

Unfortunately, I hope Juanjo looks at it with great affection because it is something very useful for us.
In still camera scenes I only need to render the first frame in Full resolution and the rest I would render in the region where there was some movement, many times it is a very small area that the octane would render in second.
There are also those moments when there is an irregularity in the rendering, a false color in the clothes, a reflection of the light in the mirror and I would only have to render in that region.
So I avoid being rendering the whole scene in full Res from the beginning.
