Too bad, Octane V4,600 Euro, Octane2018,2019 has to be paid separately, it is less than a year now, and Octane2020 needs to be paid again? Your software is too expensive to afford.

PC:i9 7900X / 64GB / RTX2080Ti *2 / RTX2070 *2
Mac: MacBookPro16' i9 9880H / 32G / 5500M / eGPU AMD Radeon VII *2

Better to stay with yearly subscription. It's cheaper with 16.60*12 Euro for year and RTX boost is greathobirchina wrote:Too bad, Octane V4,600 Euro, Octane2018,2019 has to be paid separately, it is less than a year now, and Octane2020 needs to be paid again? LOVE The multithreading material. really speed up the workflow.
Can't fooking wait for a stable version of the new plugin, seems promising so far.
(Dirt node doesn't work here)

Multithreading material? I went through all the release briefs but I don't remember reading about this. May I kindly ask for you to clarify whats a "Multithreading Material"?omegear wrote:LOVE The multithreading material. really speed up the workflow.

Take a look again to first page for notes and sample picture.nejck wrote:Multithreading material? I went through all the release briefs but I don't remember reading about this. Do you have any workaround for dirt node ?aoktar wrote:Take a look again to first page for notes and sample picture.nejck wrote:Multithreading material? I know this version isn't supposed to be used for production but I'm getting a really nice speed boost + stability and need to render some animation with dirt-ish textures
It's an issue with RTX mode, disable it. Thanks for feedbacks, i wish to hear if you drop some comparison for material creation times and cpu type.omegear wrote: Do you have any workaround for dirt node ?

Basically all my maps loads faster in the node editor and also when I drag and drop them even onto heavy geo (1-2m poly) it's loading blazing fast compared to the previous build.
