Hey this might be a pretty newbie question but I need some help. I used fields and a color shader to change the color on a clone effector which works all fine. The color shader is just by default white before the field changes it into my edited color and I would like to change the white color to something else. How do i do it?
Many thanks in advance
How to change color of fields
HI,
you can use several fields for coloring the instances/particles, also with Gradients, but please, don’t use the c4d Color Shader node, that works only in Instance mode, and use the Octane Instance Color node instead, that works in Render Instance mode. ciao Beppe

Hi Beppe,
thank you very much for your answer. This is great for one cloner. The problem is right now i have several clone object that i control with one plain object and also color with fields and as far as i see there I can only add one object right? Is there any chance to apply one material to all clone objects and color it with the field?

With more than a cloner, just duplicate the Instance Color material, and assign the proper cloner in the Color Source field:
