In usual case, 2 000 000 render instances will be parsed for rendering for about 2 minutes on my computer (if i scatter simple sphere), while your octane scatter does this almost on the fly. Tell me, is it possible for a third-party plug to achieve octane scatter speed, or should I not hope to find such a plug-in?
yep, further support of octane scatter would be really nice. i don't understand why it's been stopped? i've always seen this part of the octane plugins (coming from lightwave, where this is very well supported) as one of the strengths of the whole system.

Yes, native C4D scattering system is terrible slow compared to Instancer from LightWave. Octane Scatter is the only way to work comfortable with instances. This tool should be definitely a priority in Octane development.

In Forester MultiCloner is option for camera filtering that helps a lot but this is not ideal solution in bigger scenes.

Lets make a fundraiser for further development of octane scatter :D

Really, its a very powerful feature that should be further developed cause its octane's secret weapon in c4d. Its better than multi-instance!
But i understand if there is no time for this :)

This is not first time when we hear that there is no time for this and this - so for what there is time ? :)

You can't imagine how much time requires to keep this plugin as stable and good performer. And how much issues we have to manage. There can be a second version of scatter object as a seperate commercial project.

I didn't say that I don't know how hard is developing such things and time consuming. As for commercial scatter tool - this is greatest thing that I read here :) This tool is crucial for ArchViz. Thank you for your job !

At least so. It would be great to see version 2.0.

It's true. This scatter is very important for ArchVIZ. I would also be willing to pay some more for it - specially snce Octane hasn´t got something like Geopattern or Vraypattern wich is way more efficient in some cases.

About displacement mixer: would it be possible to control the autobump amount in the future?

Also would it be possible on GUI controls to have values snap to 0.0/0.5/1.0 etc with a shortcut as i drag my mouse? Would be really handy
