Mix 2 materials with displacement

You should apply same logic as in mixed materials. Mix your nodes and connect to baking texture and pin to displacement of top mix material.

Thanks man
I ll give it another shot with textures only.

I'm running into this same problem and not fully understanding the solution, here: I have a mix material that uses a vertex map to determine what goes where. The two materials have different displacements, which I was trying to combine like so:
Disp 1 + Disp 2 > Mix node (vertex map as texture) > baking texture > displacement > mix material .
If vertex maps won't work with displacement, how do I get around this
Disp 1 + Disp 2 > Mix node (vertex map as texture) > baking texture > displacement > mix material .
If vertex maps won't work with displacement, how do I get around this
