I noticed that diffuse color in my render is somehow different than my texture - is it something I can fix?

You might have the gamma set incorrectly on the texture.

Thanks for your answer ;)
Gamma is set to 2.2, so I guess it's correct

Has the material some reflections? I mean...maybe Visible Environment affects the color...

It's just diffuse material with only diffuse map, environment is white

It looks pretty close to me. You didn't provide the background bitmap (checkers), so I just rendered with RGB Texture 255/255/255 in the environment.

You compared render with Rhino viewport if I'm correct and it's the same at my computer. The difference was between Rhino/Octane and jpg viewed on Windows image browser and other applications.

If the Octane plugin is rendering the diffuse texture in the same way that Rhino does, then it seems it is working OK. If they were different, there would be a problem.

Ok, thank you.
So there's no way to fix how Rhino changes the colours compared to other apps?
