when working with substance painter or any pbr materials created with substance.. i noticed that in displacement maps, specular maps, bump maps or any maps thats grayscale or black and white a gamma of 1.0 will render nicely and almost similar to substance renderer..... maybe its just me i just use whatever thing that works.

Hi designandcode,
RAW only with all Linear 1 and beauty pass, then you have to use use (e.g) RAW + diffuse * diffuse filter.

UPDATE:
several hours trying to do it the "right way" using, like its says at poupup note "Imager> Nonlinear tone > Decrepted. Please keep ON .. "
I figured, why not deactivate and try to turn it off, big surprise, now everything works, I can save everything the way it should.
so if you want to save in Linear with Octane, deactivate the Imager > Nonlinear tone mapping.
sounds like a bug to me this
PS: it's frustrating, old manual, lack of information... terrible. A lot of cool stuff but no Tutorial about things or how to use them.
I spent 1 day of my weekend reading things I already knew, trying to revise if I did something wrong
