i try to explain as better as i can.
i start saying that i've never had this problem with the 3.06 before, and it's showing now woth the 3.07 r2.
basically, i'm doing a new model to put in my master library, to be saved in the content browser.
at the moment i'm applying a glass material to a bottle, plus material with opacity mask on it to do the graphic, and it works fine.
i put my object in the content browser, but when i check the material with the opacity, the map isn't there anymore.
is this a known problem?
other thing, i tried also with the mix material, it's composed with 2 mix, glass plus 2 different material for the graphic.
the preview works fine but when i do the content browser thing, and i choose it to use the object, i loose some connection and so the material

did you tried with the new Blend material of 3.08, instead of the Mix material?

Mix material is not good for Content browser. Also loosing the nodes will happen if you used a texture/material which is connected to another textures/materials too.
