Hi, i got some textures and i want to randomly change the hue of a specific color.
Is there a way u can think of? cheers
Random texture hue on instances

Hi thanulee,
it depends from the input texture that you need to modify, here is a simple example with a Gaussian node and the Random color texture in Wavelength: You can mix it with your texture in different mode.

Hmm ok i m not aware of gaussian node well so i need take a look on that. U think i would be able to shift the hue of only the blue in the image like this? thanks alot
Thing is mixing the random color node with any type of texture is one thing and it works if u got a single color, u can do it darker or brighter.
In my example i got some humans cloned and they have a single texture for clothes/hair/shoes etc. So i wanna change their tshirts color and not their skin. I know this is kinda weird, i could just use few different textures, but i was wondering if possible
cheers

Hi thanulee,
the Gaussian node is just an example, but you can use the Random color node in the Texture slot of a Gradient node and use whatever color/texture you want, and add to your base texture in Add, Substract, Multiply ecc mode, in anykind of pin: ciao beppe
