I was wondering if someone had any perspective on this:
I have a renderbox with 4 maxwell Titan X.
With the Titan Xp out now I needed an understanding of how much faster the pascal architecture is compared to Maxwell.
I can't use octanebench spreadsheet since there is no data for pascal there.
I was hoping there are some pascal users (possibly 1080 and 1080 ti users) with insight on the speed increase.
Thanks
Maxwell Titan X vs new Titan Xp

Hi there,
Lately got 1080ti for myself. From early tests on air I can get somewhere from 170 to 200 on air if I tweak some setings & fan curves. TitanXp should be ~200.
Maxwel base TitanX should give You between 125-135 out of the box, so technicaly new Xp is about 50% faster.
Keep in mind one thing that performance of GPUs might be affected not only thermal performance of Your box, but also system - how fast CPU is running & so on.
Hope that helps.

which 1080 Ti would you recommend?
