If this is a exporter bug, the plug-in developer team nothing to do with that either - because reason cause this bug is in the standart 3dsmax obj export module, so we should thank Autodesk for this.face wrote: If this is a exporter issue, the Octane developer team has nothing to do with that.

That was the incentive for me to write my own obj export, because the Softimage one has a memory bug...rman1974 wrote:If this is a exporter bug, the plug-in developer team nothing to do with that either - because reason cause this bug is in the standart 3dsmax obj export module, so we should thank Autodesk for this.face wrote: If this is a exporter issue, the Octane developer team has nothing to do with that.

Hi guys,
I was in hospital when you wrote this thread so i could'nt reply.
Can someone make me a decent bug report ?
It's a bit confusing what i read here.
You should be able to see the reflection of an emitter in a glossy material , and the roughness should not have any influence on it.
However it could be linked to the light switching bug that's still in the pre-2.3 intermediates.

I thought it's something wrong with 3dsmax scene (I took it from evermotion dvd), but I tried to render very simple scene (just plane and teapot on it) and I got same result - no non-glossy reflections from emitter.
I attached archive with interior scene from video (11111.ocs and 11111.obj) and simple teapot scene (444.ocs and 444.obj)
