hey! anybody know how i could do a render for a dome with octane and cinema4d ?

Why? We did some jobs like that with panocam.

Regular Octane pano camera will not generate those black edges. At the moment you may achieve this effect using the baking camera Revert baking pin, which will use arbitrary geometry as a lens. You can use a half sphere and generate something like:

Whether there's a better way to do this on C4D I am unaware, but I though this would be good for future reference as well.
