Hi,

With the completion of the new interface, we will have more direct control over what can be exposed via our own interface. We will be able to implement LocalDB directly into the plugin. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Cheers,

This is how to do it.
Works for more advanced materials that can cause troubles in the plugin.

Hi jorgensen,
you don't need geometry nodes for creating materials in Standalone. Right click anywhere in the node graph and create a material node. Right click on it and choose Render.
The material will be rendered in a preview scene called Material ball:

If you click the orange marked icon, the material ball will be instantly activated without right clicking on the node.

No problem. I'm taking the time to learn it because its AMAZING! SketchUp plugin has a long way to go. Usually model in SU then export orbx to standalone these days. Material handling and rendering settings are so much easier to use.
