Hi I have a question about render times-
I am working on a job with a very complex character. The character is animated and we are rendering the muscular system of a human.
I am rendering over 60 takes with lots of frames.
I am seeing a problem happening as I render 1 take after another. The render times are increasing with each take!
For example I rendered 6 takes overnight locate on my machine. The last take renders it's 2nd frame (after caching the geometry) in 58 seconds.
I then close C4D restart the same last take and after caching Geometry the 2nd frame takes 31 seconds!
Can anyone tell me what is going on? I start rendering in the evening with frame times of 31 secs and come back in the morning with frame times 2.30 mins??
There is no difference in rendering settings or shading between take and very little difference in Geometry.
I have RAM GB 64, 3 TITANX Maxwell..... Intel i7 6850 .
Thanks.

If you changed material assignment on character plugin has to re-send the related meshes.

The strange thing is that the scene is split on 3 machines. Each machine takes 10 Takes a night.
machine 1 ( no increase in frame time)
Machine 2 ( no increase in frame time)
Machine 3 ( increasing frame times).

and this is the console at the 1st frame..... the frame time slowly increases with every frame?
This is just a short example . it starts at 30 secs per frame and ends at 43 secs per fraame . but if I let it run over night I would have frames from 2 to 3 mins for the same renderings.

Sorry I have an update... all the machines have increasing render times. I ca'nt see any difference in the stats between the 1st and last frame.. Is there some sort of caching of the characters animation going on that increases the calculations over time?

I can't estimate by this output. Is it possible to share a scene with me? So i can exactly say the reason after investigating.

Hi aoktar
Sorry But the model in the scene is a 1200€ anatomically correct Turbosquid Human.. I think the boss would'nt like me to just give it away.... Thanks anyway for trying to help.
