Is there a way to lock the Camera in the Octane Live Viewer, while still using different Cameras in the C4D Viewport to set up a scene, and tweak some aspects of it, while the Octane Live Viewer doesn't change from - let's say: a dedicated "Final " Camera?
Much obliged! :)

No it's designed for working with active camera. Use Picture Viewer for final outputs.

well, i usually do work like that actually.
guess by using a kind of a workaround:
i have one screen divided into a) live viewer and b) the editor.
this b)-part itself is also divided into two 3d-views (via tabs). the first view is the camera view (by setting "use as camera view", the second one is any other camera.
this way, live viewer can update the rendercamera-perspective, while i do my edits using any other camera.

hope, that helps.
