Hi Aoktor and Beppe,
The new version of the c4d plug-in (3.02-R2) has stopped our Live Viewer crashing but we are still getting disconnected from our slave which is only happening with V3.
When we move the camera around the scene it is fine but the minute objects move drastically we get a disconnection from our slave in the live viewer.
I will then try and render through the picture viewer and it will just render black and count down for ever but not render anything.
I will usually then stop the render and I'll get a spinning wheel and have to force quite C4D.
Again we didn't have this disconnection problem with V2 so I don't think it's a hardware/networking issue.
Have a look through the logs and I'm hoping it's a problem you can re-create.
Thanks for your help,
Chris

I think it's the problem I just fixed: On OSX the master can run into a deadlock, i.e. no messages are sent to the slaves and no messages are received. When you shutdown C4D it will hang and you have to kill it by force, because the net render master is still hanging. The fix will be in the next release.ccpenn wrote:Hi Aoktor and Beppe,
